1. African Drumming Courses with Mohamed Diaby:
 Mohamed Diaby Tuesdays 5:30PM for Children ($10); 7:00PM for Adults($20)
Please note: Mr.Diaby is an internationally known djembefola and travels worldwide to give workshops. When he is away, we invite highly qualified instructors to fill in for him. On those days we may not be able to offer a children's class. Please phone us at 416-266-2787 to verify.

4. Free Gems Workshop with Helmut Koenig, Gemmologist:
Learn about gems from the expert! Helmut will give an interesting and informative presentation, and will take your questions. Bring in a piece of your own for an opinion. Helmut will be glad to share his knowledge.
There will be an opportunity for participants to see some of Helmut's wholesale pieces and purchase at near-wholesale prices! NO OBLIGATION.

5. Reiki Certification Course with Jennifer & Richard Newman-Terry, Reiki Masters:
Upon successful completion of this course you will be certified to practise Reiki.

6. Harbourfront International Marketplace:
You will find us at Harbourfront International Marketplace, Queens Quay every weekend from May 31 to Labour Day. We look forward to seeing you there! The store will remain open at these times as well!

8. Modern Batik Art Workshops:
If you are interested in taking one of our workshops,please email us your name and number. We will organize a class when we have sufficient numbers. We hope to run at least 1 Workshop during the Summer.

From the Earth...
We carry products from around the world. We trade fairly with our suppliers and help the economic situations of families in Mexico, Africa, India, Thailand and more. At the same time we bring unique and interesting items to the people of Toronto.
We also represent many local artists and craftsmen, and provide a showplace for their work within their own community. Our tranquil environment is becoming a meeting place and focal point for the community of Cliffside Village.
We are also committed to the promotion of Living Arts. Our Studio/Gallery has become a regular venue where local artists, health practitioners, musicians and experts can share their talents and knowledge. We frequently bring in bands to bring free concerts to the community!
Our extensive collection of World Music completes the "song".
We carry an extensive selection of Putumayo CD's, and invite you to enjoy our listening station! We also feature djembes, mbiras and a selection of other interesting instruments. Of course, drumming lessons and dance classes add to the "song"!
 In addition to the store front, Earthsong also participates in outside events and festivals such as Afrofest, Muhtadi International Drumming Festival, Guildwood Day,and Harbourfront. We are very committed to doing charitable work, which will increase as the business grows. We are also in partnership with The Lumu Kabasinde Foundation, building an orphanage for children who have lost their parents to AIDS, in Uganda.
