A) News and Events:
1. For Earthsong, July and August are busy months! Every weekend until Labour Day we are at the International Marketplace at Harbourfront Centre, from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening. Sarah and Robert are on board and we are keeping the Cliffside Village Store open Tuesday to Sunday each week as well.

2. We have finally launched our On-Line Store, and orders are coming in. Until all the little snags are ironed out, we are shipping free! Just visit our regular website www.earthsongvillage.com, and click on the "Products" link!
3. Our new logo was officially launched on July 1st! You will see it on the site, business cards, banners and product labels. I hope you like it! Thanks to Ian Charles of Zenvist, who very patiently worked with me for several months to come up with "The Spirit of Earthsong". Keep your eyes open!
4. Our full class schedule will resume in September; look for some additional offerings! Hats off to the YOGA Class! They are going strong through the summer months, under the leadership of Peggy Buchar. If you are interested, we have a few spaces available, and we have introduced a voucher plan which allows you up to 3 months to complete 8 classes. Call the store for details! Some eciting newprojects we are working on: Swahili Classes; Beadworking Classes; Aromatherapy Workshops... and more!
5. I am pleased to announce that Robin Armstrong, noted astrologer, will be doing private readings at the store. Please register at the store in advance if you are interested. We are now booking July 29, 2008 in the afternoon, and have 2 spaces left at that time.

B) Products:
We have a fabulous selection of very large Shona stone carvings from Zimbabwe...
We are compiling a small catalogue; for now, this stamp shows the beauty of this art form.
If you love malachite, we have imported a nice selection of this powerful mineral, mined in East Congo... carved, free-form, jewellery.
We also have some fossilized ammonite from Madagascar...
We now carry sweetgrass, loose sage, as well as our resins frankincense, myrrh, copal and dragon's blood...
We have so much more... clothing from Nepal; organic coffees, teas, spices; African granary doors and lost-wax items; sadza cloths from Zimbabwe... even a lion's skull!

From the Earth...
We carry products from around the world. We trade fairly with our suppliers and help the economic situations of families in Mexico, Africa, India, Thailand and more. At the same time we bring unique and interesting items to the people of Toronto.
We also represent many local artists and craftsmen, and provide a showplace for their work within their own community. Our tranquil environment is becoming a meeting place and focal point for the community of Cliffside Village.
We are also committed to the promotion of Living Arts. Our Studio/Gallery has become a regular venue where local artists, health practitioners, musicians and experts can share their talents and knowledge. We frequently bring in bands to bring free concerts to the community!
Our extensive collection of World Music completes the "song".
We carry an extensive selection of Putumayo CD's, and invite you to enjoy our listening station! We also feature djembes, mbiras and a selection of other interesting instruments. Of course, drumming lessons and dance classes add to the "song"!
 In addition to the store front, Earthsong also participates in outside events and festivals such as Afrofest, Muhtadi International Drumming Festival, Guildwood Day,and Harbourfront. We are very committed to doing charitable work, which will increase as the business grows. We are also in partnership with The Lumu Kabasinde Foundation, building an orphanage for children who have lost their parents to AIDS, in Uganda.
